Kunming to Be 72 Hours Visa Free Soon

Kunming has got approval for launching 72 hours visa-free policy, which is expected to be implemented soon after being inspected by the Ministry of Public Security. Once implemented, tourists taking an international transfer in Kunming can stay in the city for 72 hours without the necessary visa. It would be a great opportunity for foreigners to go sightseeing, shopping, and do business in Kunming.

Kunming 72-Hour Visa-free Transit Policy

The policy allows travelers holding an onward flight ticket to a third country to stay up to 3 days in Kunming without a Chinese visa. The policy is available for travelers from 51 countries including the United States, UK, Australia, etc. Kunming will be the tenth city in mainland China that offer 72-hour visa-free stays, following Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, Shenyang, Dalian, Xi'an, and Guilin. More Flights to Be Launched

Kunming Changshui International Airport is the fourth largest aviation port in China.
