Day 1: Ni Hao, Beijing
Welcome to Beijing, the vibrant capital of present China! Upon your arrival, your private tour guide will put you at ease with a warm smile. Later, you will be transferred to your hotel in downtown by private vehicle. After check-in, enjoy some free time to recover from your journey.

Day 2: Beijing, Forbidden City
Begin your city exploration from Tiananmen Square serving many historical events that changed the world. From there, you will continue to the Forbidden City, this 13th - century imperial complex was once the power seat for over 500 years. In addition to the three main halls on the central axis, you will be treated to an extended tour to other halls that most travelers are usually unable to see.
In the afternoon, take a rickshaw just like the locals did in the old days to pass through different hutongs, and then you will be sent back to your hotel to take refreshment and prepare for the marvelous Kungfu show at night.

Day 3: Beijing, Great Wall
Get off the beaten path to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the best-preserved parts, which will take you about 2 hours on road. The Great Wall here is quite steep, so a round-way cable car is included for you to get up and down easily and safely. On top of it, do some moderate hiking to enjoy a splendid 360-degree view.
Later on, your driver and guide will transfer you to taste the most iconic cuisine of Beijing - Peking Roast Duck at Dadong Restaurant.

Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an
Enjoy your morning at the Temple of Heaven, an exquisite building which presents oriental aesthetics. It was the place where ancient Chinese emperors prayed for bumper harvests, and now it has become a public park. There are many people around the retirement age doing exercises like playing Tai Chi, performing sword or practicing the Chinese Kungfu, etc. Join them to stretch your body and experience the Beijingers' healthy lifestyle.
In the afternoon, take a high-speed train to Xi'an. On your arrival, your private guide will greet you and transfer your hotel.

Day 5: Xi'an, Terracotta Warriors
Terracotta Warriors will be the top highlight of your Xi'an tour. Emperors in history wanted to live forever, but none of them succeeded - Emperor Qin Shihuang is no exception. The legendary grand array with over 8,000 life-size pottery soldiers, horses and chariots were buried for guarding him in the afterlife. In the battle formation, you can really feel the strong military strength in the Qin Dynasty.
Return to the city to visit the lively Muslim Street and the peaceful Great Mosque behind it.

Day 6: Xi'an - Chengdu
Continue your history exploring to Shaanxi History Museum, one of the top museums in China, and see the Fresco House of Tang Dynasty which is usually closed to the public. After that, a 4-hour high-speed train will take you to Chengdu. Upon your arrival, be met and taken to your hotel for rest.

Day 7: Chengdu, Panda Tour
For this tour, panda is the reason why you are in Chengdu. You'd better head to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in the early morning because these lovely guys are active from 8 am to 9 am. You can see the cute pandas enjoying their breakfast and doing joyful exercises after their breakfast.
In the afternoon, soak in the local life and culture at the River Viewing Tower Park, where you will see or play Mahjong with the locals and taste a cup of traditional tea. At night, you may try a world-known Sichuan Hot Pot as your dinner.

Day 8: Chengdu - Chongqing, Yangtze River
Free morning for you to experience the slow life in Chengdu. In the afternoon, proceed to Chongqing by a high-speed train. On arrival, your private tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to get on your Yangtze Cruise.

Day 9: Yangtze River, Fuling
Start a relaxing day with Tai Chi on the deck. After breakfast, disembark in Fuling and take a shore excursion to the 816 Underground Project or the White Crane Underwater Preservation and local market. Relaxation time in the afternoon and learn about some traditional Chinese culture by taking part in the activities provided onboard. At night, attend the Captain's welcome reception.

Day 10: Yangtze River, Shennong Stream
In the early morning, the ship will take you to pass two of the well-known Three Gorges - Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge - in turn. Around 11 am, leave the ship and head to Shennong Stream and enjoy a picnic lunch at Tracker's village. Later, back to the ship and have some free time. About 6 pm, the ship will pass the Xiling Gorge.

Day 11: Yangtze River, Yichang - Shanghai
After breakfast, disembark and take the excursion to Three Gorges Project. Afterward, you will be transferred to Banshan Hotel in the downtown of Yichang to meet your private tour guide. Next, be escorted to do quick sightseeing in the city before flying to Shanghai. Upon your arrival, be greeted and taken to your hotel for a restful night.

Day 12: Shanghai, The Bund
Start your city journey from the Bund, where you can see the sparkling skylines meet colonial buildings; then, tour the Yu Garden, located in the old town of Shanghai, where you will find another kind of traditional Chinese garden that is different from the one you met in Beijing. Later, do light hiking from Fuxing Park to Sipailou Road with a stop at a local market. The past, present and future of Shanghai will catch your eyes. Finally, return to your hotel for rest and enjoy an acrobatic show at night.

Day 13: Shanghai - Suzhou - Shanghai
Take 2-hour drive to Suzhou. Nearby the hustle and bustling Shanghai, this small city looks like a quiet girl next door. While in Suzhou, you will tour the Humble Administrator's Garden, a master of Suzhou gardens which embodies fully the harmony of nature and human. Wander around there and experience philosophies of life. Move on to new Suzhou Museum which was designed by the world-famous architect I.M.Pei, a silk factory later.
Time to a charming water town - Tongli - a water village with typical Jiangnan style along Yangtze River. While enjoying a wooden boat trip along a canal, you may feel like going back to China's past. After the tour, drive back to your hotel in Shanghai.

Day 14: Shanghai, Zai Jian
Farewell, China! When you are ready, your guide and driver will take you to the airport for your home-bound flight.
