Itinerary

Day 1: Kunming, Arrival
Welcome to Kunming, China's Spring City! Upon arriving in Kunming, your tour guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax or step out for a little adventure of your own.

Day 2: Kunming, Stone Forest
Today visit the renowned Stone Forest. Famed as the "World Karst Landscape Museum", where you will be amazed at the bizarre stone formations in shapes of swords, mushrooms, tower, pillars and even castles.
Later, take a stroll in Jingxing Bird Market.

Day 3: Dali Ancient Town, Kunming - Dali
This morning you will be escorted to the railway station for high-speed train to Dali. Upon arrival your tour guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.
You will visit a Bai ethnic minority village to taste the local culture and customs. In the late afternoon you will take a leisure stroll in Dali Ancient Town.

Day 4: Erhai Lake & Lijiang Ancient Town, Dali - Lijiang
In the morning, take a boat cruise on the beautiful Erhai Lake.
After that, be escorted to Lijiang. Upon arrival, your tour guide will meet and escort you the hotel. After a short rest, discover the famous Lijiang Ancient Town and the Lion Hill located inside the Ancient Town.

Day 5: Lijiang, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain
On this day you will be driven to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, followed by a visit to the Baisha Mural Paintings. Later, you will visit the Black Dragon Pool Park and the Museum of Naxi Dongba Culture located inside the park.

Day 6: First Bend of Yangtze River & Tiger Leaping Gorge, Lijiang - Shangri-La
Today drive to wonder at the stunning Tiger Leaping Gorge. Continue on to drive to Shangri-La (about 2.5 hours). En route, stop by at a local Yi minority village at your wish.

Day 7: Shangri-La, Pudacuo National Park & Gedan Songzanlin Monastery
Start today's trip to Pudacuo National Park to visit Bitahai and Shudu Lakes. Next discover the ancient Gedan Songzanlin Monastery, the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan.
In the late afternoon enter a Tibetan family's home and enjoy a local dinner there. After the tour, be escorted to the hotel.
