About This Trip
This 10-day China tour begins in Beijing with visits to the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, and the Great Wall of China, followed by a rickshaw ride through the Hutongs to experience local life. Continue your journey to Xi'an to see the Terracotta Warriors before continuing on to Dengfeng to see the Shaolin Temple and learn Chinese Kung Fu. Visit the Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang before concluding your journey in cosmopolitan Shanghai.

Day 1: Beijing, Arrival
Say Hello to China, an ancient oriental land. Upon your arrival at Beijing airport, be met and escorted to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and recover from jet lag.

Day 2: Beijing, City Highlights Tour
Start your day at the historic Tiananmen Square, and then explore the mysterious Forbidden City, home to China's emperors for over 500 years. In the afternoon, visit hutongs with a rickshaw ride. Hidden between the city's main streets, these winding alleys were the most lively residential area of old Beijing, and rickshaw was the most popular vehicle for the locals in old times. While in the hutongs, you will also visit a local family, discover their favorite courtyard and chat with the host to learn about their daily lives.

Day 3: Beijing, Great Wall Tour
Today, drive about 2 hours to visit the magnificent Great Wall at Mutianyu, which is a favorite section of young espier. You can take a cable car going up and admire the stunning views of the wall and its surroundings. After moderate hiking on it, getting down the mountain from the wall by toboggan is a great speed-slide experience and very exciting. Later on, return to the city and watch the Olympic Bird's Nest and Water Cube from the outside.

Day 4: Temple of Heaven, Beijing - Xi'an
Chinese Martial has been so famous in the world that some people thought everyone in China can fight like Bruce Lee. Tai Chi, as a famous style of traditional Chinese martial art, boasts of its defense functions and health benefits both. This morning, you will visit the Temple of Heaven and then have a 1-hour Tai Chi class there with a local master to grasp its cultural intension and basic movements.
Afterward, take a high-speed train to Xi'an, be picked up and transferred to your hotel by local tour guide on arrival.

Day 5: Xi'an, Terracotta Warriors
Walk into the Terracotta Warriors, and approach the miracles created by humans. Thousands of statues of warriors wearing armors and holding long weapons are the size of real people, guarding China's first emperor like the resurgent legion. Later, visit Xi'an Art Ceramics Factory where you can make a terracotta statue for yourself by following the original technique the ancient people used 2,000 years ago.
After lunch, get back to the city and wander through Muslim Street to learn about the daily life of Chinese Muslims, where you can also find some interesting souvenirs and local food.

Day 6: Cycling on the Ancient City Wall, Xi'an - Luoyang
Cycling on the top of a wall should be an interesting experience, though a little bumpy. This morning, you will visit the 600 years old City Wall in Xi'an and ride a bicycle on it for around an hour to enjoy the urban landscape. After that, head to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. In the past 1,300 years, it was slit by earthquakes and recombined itself magically in other earthquakes. While in the Small Wild Goose Pagoda Park, you will also be provided with a traditional Chinese calligraphy lesson.
Late of the afternoon, take a high-speed train to Luoyang, check into your hotel and rest.

Day 7: Luoyang - Dengfeng, Shaolin Kong Fu - Luoyang
Same to Taichi, Shaolin Kong Fu is another famous style of Chinese martial; different to Taichi, it is more practical in battle and enjoys the reputation of that "All martial arts of China originated from Shaolin". Today, you will be Marvel at Shaolin Temple, enjoy a wonderful Kong Fu performance, and learn some movements in Shaolin Kong Fu. What's more, you will also visit Songyang Academy and Songyue Temple Pagoda. This academy is one of the four major academies in ancient China, similar to the higher education institutions of today's universities.

Day 8: Longmen Grottoes, Luoyang - Shanghai
The excursion today will bring you to the grand Longmen Grottoes which was built along the hillside, to admire numerous amazing Buddha statues. Later on, take a relaxing stroll in Mingqing Street of Lijingmen and then head to the airport for flight to Shanghai. On arrival, be met and escorted to your hotel for check-in.

Day 9: Shanghai, Shanghai History Tour
Your tour of incredible Shanghai will start from Shanghai Natural History Museum, and then the exquisite Yu Garden. Like the locals, spend an hour to walk through Fuxing Park, Bugaoli and a small food street to experience their leisurely life and sample some snacks. Finally, immerse yourself in the colonial buildings on the Bund and marvel at the glittering skyscrapers on the other bank of Huangpu River.

Day 10: Shanghai, Departure
It's time to say goodbye. Enjoy a wonderful breakfast and free time before being transferred to the airport for flight back to your sweet home.
