Non-Stop Service Between Chengdu and London Commenced

A new direct flight from London to Chengdu in southwest China has been launched by British Airway in September.

The new non-stop service operates three times a week (Monday, Thursday, and Friday). The London-bound flight is scheduled to depart from Chengdu at 10:55 a.m. and arrive in London at 15:00 p.m. The return flight will be departing from London at 15:30 p.m. and arrive in Chengdu at 08:55 a.m. (all local time)

The new service will save 6 to 8 hours for travelers compared with a non-direct flight, marking the end of flying to Chengdu from London via Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.

Chengdu is the capital city of Sichuan Province in southwest China. It is popular among tourists for its giant pandas, spicy cuisine, Sichuan opera, and many other attractions. The non-service will surely offer convenience for European travelers who have a fancy for Chengdu.
